I follow a path. It’s not a large path. It bends and curves through trees. I’ve been following clues and now I am close to locating a missing hiker.
I woke up this morning not knowing that I would end up here, on this path, looking for someone I’ve never met. Let me go back to that morning. It was the usual Saturday morning.
I woke up slowly cautious of what a new day could bring into my life. Since living in this town I have found that I can expect the unexpected.
My original plan for today was to work a few hours, but there has been no work available.
I plan to check back a few times but it looks as though I am not going to be able to work today except for one quick and easy project that I need to work on today.
I have no idea what else I will do today.
I hope to write a short story for the series I’ve been writing.
I went to bed early this morning after writing for so many hours.
I have not written as much as I had anticipated.
I will need to stay up tonight and finish writing the two original pilot episodes and other material to submit for the Disney Writers program application.
I do not plan to write in the short story series tonight because I need to focus on the writing for the application.
